Helen, I worked with Mr. Thomas in Title 1 at the Ks. State Board of Education. He was one of the nicest men I ever knew. You babysat for my boys Shawn and Nathan. They still speak highly of you and Phil. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I found out today that Mr. Thomas had passed away. I immediately felt overcome with sadness and remorse for not keeping in touch with him and all of you. You have our sincere sympathy. Mr. Thomas was one of my favorite teachers. He had the knack for bringing out the best in all of his students. I have many fond memories from the years the Thomas family lived in Natoma.

I worked with Mr. Thomas at the Kansas Department of Education for 25 years. I always enjoyed his dictation! I also rode the bus with him for several years. He was one of my favorite people at KSDE. RIP

I am with you all in my mind and in my heart, remembering the all too few moments that we shared our homes, ate and laughed together. Go in peace, brother.
