Timothy Graf

ONAGA Timothy B. Tim Graf, 51, of Onaga, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 northwest of Onaga, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. He was born August 15, 1961 at Onaga, the son of Kenneth E. and Mary L. Becker Graf . He graduated from Onaga High School in 1979. Tim was a farmer and a stockman, and worked as a welder at Balderson s in Wamego, now Caterpillar Work Tools, for almost 21 years. He and his sons also operated T.G. & Sons Fencing Company. Tim had been a Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop No. 93 in Onaga, worked with the Onaga Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, and was a member of the Onaga Saddle Club. He married Connie Rae Wegner on December 17, 1983 at the First Congregational Church in Onaga. She survives, of the home. Tim was preceded in death by his parents. Other survivors include one daughter, Mary E. Graf, Onaga; three sons, Kenneth E. Graf and wife Jade, Jesse Graf, and Matthew Graf, all of Onaga; two brothers, Roger Graf and wife Dea, Havensville, and Kevin Graf and Terri, Summerfield; three sisters, Christina Walker and husband B.J., Wakarusa, Tina Bahret and Jack Murray, Silver Lake, and Michele Leflet and husband Robert, Nortonville; one granddaughter, Kylie Sky Graf, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday August 24th at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Onaga. Burial will follow in the Onaga Cemetery. Tim will lie in state at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga where visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
