RICKY BUNCH Obituary

Mr. Ricky Lynn Bunch Jr., age 40 of Tazewell, Tennessee, was born October 21, 1973, and went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2014.

He was saved at an early age at Caney Valley American Christian Church. He was a member of Victory Assembly of God.

Ricky was an avid sportsman and loved anything outdoors. He was a professional landscaper for 12 years.

Preceded in death by his father: Ricky Bunch Sr. Grandparents: Ruth Monty and Anthony Lewis, Dean and Bonnie Bunch. Infant granddaughter Peyton.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years: Melinda (Petty) Bunch. Children: Tammy and Johnny Rasnic; Miranda and Anthony Hammonds; Mary Bunch; Doyle Ray Atkins Jr.; Ricki and Chris Wallace; James Dean Bunch. Mother: Stella Bunch and Lonnie Epperson. Brother: Gary Bunch and wife. Grandchildren: Jonathan, Dakota, Emma, Ariel, Malachi, Hailey and Mihalia. Nephews: Gary Jr. and Brandon Bunch. A host of other relatives and friends.

The family received friends Tuesday, September 23, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. with funeral services at 7 p.m. in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Epperson and the Rev. Scott Ramsey officiating. Music was provided by Scott Keyes.

Graveside services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Irish Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers: Doyle Atkins Jr., Johnny Rasnic, Tony Wade, Gene Greer, Glen Greer, Andy Lakins and Tim Hirsch.

Honorary Pallbearers: Dale Walters and Wayne Hatfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expense.
