Michael Adams Clarinda, Iowa July 20, 1950-Aug., 6, 2019 Michael Adams, 69, of Clarinda, Iowa entered into peace Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda, Iowa. Funeral services were held 10:30 AM Friday, August 9, 2019 at Ritchie Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa. Visitation was held Friday, August 9, 2019 at Ritchie Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with the family greeting friends. Interment was held at the Clarinda Cemetery, Clarinda, Iowa. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ritchie Funeral Home of Clarinda, Iowa, where we 'Celebrate Life'. Michael Dean Adams was born July 20, 1950 in Clarinda, Iowa, the son of Glen E. Adams and Evelyn L. (Maley) Adams. He grew up in Clarinda and graduated from Clarinda High School with the class of 1968. Michael was united in marriage May 22, 1976 to Diane Rasmussen and they were blessed with four children, Trudy, Heath, Audra and Austin. Michael and Diane were later divorced. Following graduation from high school, Michael began working as a machinist at Lisle Corporation in Clarinda. After forty years, he retired from Lisle Corporation. In addition to his employment at Lisle Corporation, Michael had a lawn mowing business with his sons and had several part time jobs including working at local gas stations and Orscheln's Farm & Home Supply. Michael was avid gun collector and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and shopping at Bass Pro Shops. When he was younger he enjoyed the stock car racing at the Adams County Speedway. Preceding Michael in death are his parents, Glen and Evelyn Adams and a grandchild. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Trudy Fidler and husband Doug of Clarinda, Iowa, Heath Adams and wife Jennifer of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Audra Donelson and husband Dustin of St. Joseph, Missouri and Austin Adams and special friend Jamie Isenhour of Shenandoah, Iowa; grandchildren, Jacob, Natalie, Corben and Jaxen Fidler, Bradley, Brookelynn, Bryanna and Brody Adams, Parker and Bryson Snook and soon to be born grandchild; brother, Danny Adams of Clarinda, Iowa; sister in Christ, Cherie Wray of Coin, Iowa and many, many friends.
