Abbie Gatewood Obituary

God sent his angels to take sweet little Abbie Claire Gatewood on Saturday August 20, 2011 at 11:02 PM to end her pain and suffering on this earth . Abbie Claire was born on Novembr 30, 2005 in Flowood, MS. Abbie was five years old and by her side was her loving mother.
Those surviving are her mother Brandie Gatewood of Jackson, MS, her father Hiram Gatewood III of Raymond, MS her grandparents Harvey and Millie Skelton of Utica, MS Hiram and Mary Ann Gatewood of Raymond, MS.
Great Grandparents are Clyde and Sue Skelton of Utica, MS and Francis Gatewood of Clinton, MS
Also surviving are many aunts and uncles and her dearly loved cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday the 24th from 5-7 pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home downtown Jackson on High Street. Funeral Service will be Thursday August 25 at 2:00 PM at Lakeshore Church on Siwell Rd. in Byram
The family has requested that donations be made to the UMC Candlelighters Organization.

While you do not know us personally, we wanted you and your whole family to know of our profound sorrow at your precious loss. Your family, Dr. & Mrs. Gatewood were so comforting to us when we lost our only son in 2010. As we well know, no words spoken can ever erase the pain;but please know that your whole family are in our thoughts and prayers.
