Adam McInnis, 82, departed this life on April 10, 2014.

Funeral services will be held Sat. April 19, 2014, 11:00am at New Jerusalem Church, 5708 Old Canton Rd., Jackson, MS. Burial will follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery, Jackson, MS. Westhaven Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary McInnis of 46 years; son (Mack); brothers (Luther, L.B.); sisters (Bonnie, Lavern); and special mother-in-law (Mamie).

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Shera (Earl) Moore, Cynthia (Don) Williams, Kenyata McInnis and Britney Sanders, all of Jackson, MS; Belinda (James) Griffin and Debra Hicks, both of Atlanta, GA; sons Robert (Audrey) McInnis of Atlanta, GA; Adam (Sharon) McInnis, Joseph (Dorothy) McInnis, Dewayne (Tasha) McInnis and Cordell Sanders, all of Jackson MS; a very special niece, Glenda (James) Gray of Mendenhall, MS; twenty-six grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mae Lee McInnis and a host of nieces and nephews.
