Alan Cluis Priester went to be with his savior Wednesday, May 29 at Baptist Hospital. Alan had been ill for a short time and was blessed to have been a cancer survivor for over 27 years.

Alan was well established as a 3rd generation contractor and was also associated with Mississippi's 1st licensed general contractor, L.B. Priester and Son of Meridian MS. Mr. Priester was his grandfather.

He joined Priester Construction Co. of Jackson in 1977 until 2003 when Priester- Reid Construction was formed with his partner Charles D. Reid.

Alan was preceeded in death by his parents, James Cluis Priester and Mary Rainer Priester.

He is survived by his brother William of Mobile and sister Rosemary Priester Bomar of Brentwood, TN, aunt Ruth D. Priester of Jackson, nephew James Kirby Priester of Mobile and nieces Suzanne Woods and Jennifer Logan, great nieces Lauren Blalock and Jessica Hibler, nephews Christopher Mashburn and Zachary Elder.

Visitation will be at Barham Funeral Home Meridian from 1:00 to 1:45pm Monday with graveside service at 2pm in Magnolia Cemetery.
