Bill Plunkett Obituary

William Kirk "Bill" Plunkett was born on November 2, 1949, to Richard LaRoy Hollingsworth Plunkett and Lucy Kirk Plunkett. Bill Passed away Wednesday October 12, 2011 at St. Dominics Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson He was predeceased by both parents and a brother, Richard L. H. Plunkett, Jr.
Bill is survived by two daughters, Erica Leigh Plunkett, and Liza Bayles Plunkett; a brother, Alfred W. Plunkett (Sandra); three sisters: Charlotte McCool (Jim), Lena Davis (Bill) and Susan McCulley (Bill); and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Harpole, Herbie Kirk, Michael Bates, Henry Kirk, Raymond Kirk,& Billy Ray Harber Honorary pallbearers:will be John Delancey, Joe Perry, Tye Durden, Walter Fisher, Kyle Langford and Billy Sharp Campbell Visitation will be today (Friday October 14, 2011) 10-11AM at Concord Baptist Church, Yazoo City, MS with funeral to follow at 11am. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery. Under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.

Sorry to hear the news about Bill. Although I saw him only once or twice since high school, Bill was the type of guy that was easily remembered... always friendly... always smiling. I am sure that he had a positive effect on many.
