Charles Braswell Obituary

Charles Ellis "Chuck" Braswell, 73 of Brandon, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. at Linn Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Linn Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-11a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Ray Funeral Home.
Mr. Braswell was born on May 15, 1934 to Lawrence A. Braswell and Alice Ophelia Blessitt in Linn. He graduated from Linn High School and completed 4 years of college. He served 3 years in the Air Force from 1954-57 with an Honorable Discharge. He was currently an RV campground host with his wife in Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Braswell; one brother Bobby Braswell.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; two daughters, Elizabeth Domino (James) of Hollandale, Vicki Williams (Byron) of Calion, AR; one son, Charles "Chuck" Braswell of Brandon; one step-daughter, Juliana Cramer (Todd) of Great Falls, MT; one step-son, Kevin Winstead of Canton; mother, Alice Opehelia Braswell of Cleveland; two brothers, Ralph Braswell (Judy) of Buckanan Dam, TX, Buck Braswell (Frances) of Raymondville, TX; sister, Frances Downs (Morris) of Cleveland; a special aunt Sally Dunaway of Carrollton, and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Pickle, Cory Gregg, Chris Domino, Brian Braswell, Ricky Downs, Byron Williams.
