Doris Tigrett Obituary
Brandon, MS - Tipsy Tigrett, 96, went to be with her heavenly father on Sat. July 3, 2021. Visitation will be held on Wed. July 7, 2021 from 10am-11:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 12pm on Wed. July 7, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Brandon Memorial Gardens.
Tipsy was born in Puckett, MS on Oct. 16, 1924 to Guy and Lillie Mae Kennedy and moved to Brandon, MS at age four.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Lyle and Janie Tate; sister, Ottris Hall; daughter, Angela Clark; granddaughter, Kelcie Clark; grandson, Cody Clark; her precious little dog, "Prissy"; several nieces, nephews and her loving caregivers, Stella Thurman, Stella Smith, Toni Pack and Brenda Collier. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Terry A. Tigrett Sr.; sister, Irene Brent and her brother, Dan Henry Kennedy.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Kindred Hospice for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund at 100 Brandon Baptist Dr. Brandon, MS 39042.
