Went to visit my friend today. His fleshly remains. But His spirt is alive. Walking and talking with me almost daily since that day. He was my “Jonathan.” I miss Him. But He is very much still alive and well in spirit.

To Forrest's Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Forrest touched so many lives. He will be truly missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Forrest when I met Carey. He always had a huge smile on his face. He was so kind and friendly whenever I saw him. He always had a great big hug waiting for you. It was obvious that he loved his family very much. I will never forget the happiness in his eyes the day of Summer's baptism.

I know the wonderful memories that everyone has of him will carry them through the years to come.

Please know that you are not alone in your grief. May God bless you.

I moved to Forest Middle School from Scott Central in the 6th grade. He was probably the first person I met when I got there. Forrest had a charisma that will live in each and every person he came into contact with. I remember how he made me feel welcome, being the new kid. He will be forever missed, never forgotten. We'll all miss that big grin.

Today, a bright light went out.....the smile of Forrest Johnson.

The very first time I met Forrest Johnson, I was working at a local bank. He was around 5 years old maybe less. He just had a birthday and got money as presents. Anne brought him in to open a savings account and I had the pleasure of waiting on them. It was a very big day for him and his excitement showed across the counter, as he flashed THE BIGGEST SMILE for such a little guy. The last time I saw him was last summer when he knocked on my front door. When I opened the door the 1st thing I saw was his big smile....the whole time we talked he smiled, and when he turned to leave, the last thing I saw..... HIS BIG SMILE - which I will remember everytime his name is mentioned. The entire Rigby family feels your loss, as it a loss we share as well.

Forrest Johnson was a love of our family. He was like a brother to both me & JW. He was an Uncle to Jake and Blaise. Our hearts hurt that he is no longer here but I know he is now an angel that will look after us forever! We are so glad that we had him in our lives for the short time we did. Thanks, Johnny & Ann for that special gift. We will never forget him! He pulled Blaise's 1st tooth and every time a tooth is loose she would call him. Maybe now, a tooth angel exist. We LOVE YOU FORREST JOHNSON!!!!!

I will always remember Forrest for his wonderful smile and personality. He was so special to me and Clay and Corrie for many years. I will never forget the fun times we shared with him especially all of those late night baseball tournaments. May God bless all of you at this time. I am praying for you all.

I lost a brother in 1949 & a father in 1960. I lost the two most important women in my life in less than six months in 2001. Gerri died on April 7 and mother died on October 2. I know that all of these losses combined cannot compare to the loss of a child. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with you during these very difficult times and please know that if there is any way that I can be of service to help you get through this awesome time of your lives, please feel free to call on me.

Ann,Johnny,Carrie and family, I know there are no words right now to help with your hurting hearts but I just want to say that I love you guys. I'll never forget how when Forrest introduced me to others he still introduced me as his mother-n-law . He has given us the most wonderful gift and that is our precious little Summer. She loves her Daddy and I say LOVES purposely because he will FOREVER live in our hearts and we will be sure to tell her how much her daddy loves her. She won't forget him, I promise. Please call me if you need me.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it doe not boast, it is no proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." I Cor. 13:4-8
