1 Peter 5:7 is very encouraging. God invites you to lean upon Him. It says, "while YOU throw all YOUR anxiety upon [God], because he cares for YOU." May you find the comfort you desire during these sad times.

I've never known anyone who touched so many hearts. I am so very fortunate to have known Gina and to have her as part of my family. I am extremely grateful to the Burns family for embracing my brother as one of their own. I can only imagine how heartbroken you all are, and I wish I could take your pain away.
I will always have a special place in my heart where Gina's memory will continue to warm it. She was and always will be my special girl.
My deepest sympathies and all my love.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you face this difficult time. I'm glad I was able to know Gina. I'm thankful for her friendship to me and especially to Melanie. Our daughters are precious and I know you will miss her terribly. It was evident from the outpouring of sympathy that her life touched and blessed many people. May God bless and comfort you in the days ahead.

I will miss seeing Gina's face when we go back to school. I am a teacher at HMS. I went to school with her, but she was a few years ahead of me. Gina found out about the cancer after we got out of school and it took her before we came back.We will all miss her at HMS. May God be with you and your family in all that you do.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that are happy.

Our family joins you in mourning the loss of Gina.

Gina was one of the most loving and caring people that I knew. She helped so many people in so many ways. She was a true friend to all who knew her. She would put a smile on my face when I was having the worst of days. She was an angel. I will miss her dearly. You will all be in my prayers.

Sorrow is all I feel right now. Gina was such a sweet and kind person. She had compassion for others. She will be missed. WE will be praying for the family. I found this poem online and it brought me some peace. I hope it will do the same for who ever reads it.

God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your precious hurt face

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest;
God' s Garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew you' d never ever
Get well on earth again.

So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered " Peace be thine "
Then He took you up to Heaven
With Hands so gentle and kind.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God welcomed you home.

Rest in Peace dear friend.

"Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow."

Gina was such a loving person. She was always giving of herself to others. She will always be remembered in my heart, as she holds a special place there. May God be with all that knew and loved her and lead us all to comfort at this time of such despair.

To the family, I extend my deepest sympathies knowing that there truly are no words to ease your pain. You are all in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Bill Rigby

My dear friend you will be missed by everybody that was lucky enough to know you. I can't believe you are gone and that I can't pick up the phone to talk to you. You asked me what was God's purpose for you here on earth. Just watch from above and you will see. I love you and will miss you every single day.

I think back of my childhood great memories and Gina is there for almost all of them. The first sleepovers with a friend, Todd beating the bedroom door wanting in, Motorbike rides around the yard, playing in the game room.... When I called to check on her about 1 month ago, she did not want to talk about herself. She only wanted to know about me. That was typical Gina - Always interested in others and loving them dearly!
