What an amazing legacy this wonderful lady left! Gifted as both a musician and a teacher, she made a lasting contribution to the Delta which will live on through the students she leaves behind. I will always be grateful for the opportunity I had to know her and learn from her. God bless all of you, as he surely blessed us with her presence.

Miss Young was a true dedicated educator. She could take the roughest football player and bring out their musical talent that they never knew they had. A wonderful sincere person who never forgot her students. I feel special to have been a part of her life. She was truly a real lady... Domino Bellipanni,( Indianola, MS)

Miss Young will live in my memory forever. She lovingly shared her passion for music with SO many students who benefited from her guidance. She gave her whole self to us in every rehearsal and every performance. How lucky I feel to have been at the IA Concert Choir reunion several years ago; her smiling face beaming with pride - for us, never for herself - is an image I'll never forget.

I will never forget the joy that Miss Young brought to people of the Delta. Her musical productions and classes were a delight to the students and patrons of Indianola Academy. I will forever sit forward and straight as I sing remembering her words and instructions. Dear Miss Young, I know you are teaching the angels today. Bless those she has left behind. She will be so missed.

I guess Miss Grace will reunite us all one last time, as only she could, if not in person then at least in our hearts. Bless her for the joy, passion, and love she gave to us all. What would our lives have been like without her? She truly was part of our family, and we were hers. Hiram
