John Norrell Obituary
Florence
John Walter Norrell, 83, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation was Monday, June 20 from 5-7 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The service will be Tuesday at 2:00pm at Briar Hill Baptist Church with burial following at Florence Cemetery.
A native of Petal, Mr. Norrell retired from the Air Force after 30 years of service. He also worked for the MS Employment Security Commission for 15 years. He loved yard work, the Lord and his Church, and his Country.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Norrell; two sons, Grant (Elizabeth) Norrell of Clinton and Scott Norrell of Florence; brother, Dr. Milton Norrell of Collegedale, TN; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Amber Norrell
