John Shepherd Obituary
Brandon, MS - John David Shepherd, 84, of Brandon, MS passed away Friday, November 20, 2020, at his residence.
A graveside service will be Sunday, November 6, 2020, at 3:30 PM at Union Hill Methodist Cemetery, Gholson, MS with pastor Wilson officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. The family asks that everyone that attends to wear a mask.
Mr. Shepherd was born on October 1, 1936, in Gholson, MS to the late Ethel Marie Nester Shepherd and Willie M. Shepherd. He was a longtime member of Southside Assembly of God in Jackson, MS and he attended "Word of Life" of Brandon, MS his last year of living there. He was a dedicated Christian, whom always put God first. A devoted husband and an amazing father and grandfather. Those who knew John loved him dearly. He will be missed by many.
Mr. Shepherd is survived by his children- Melinda Kim (John) Whelan, David Shepherd, and Debra (Ian) Cranfield.
