Kenneth Huff Obituary

Kenneth L. Huff, 47, tragically lost his life in a car accident on September 9, 2007.
Son of the late Christine Ellerman Huff and the late Newton Adolph Huff. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 17 years, Alice Leonard Huff; his adoring pets Tristan, Laurel and Hardy; his brother, Douglas Huff of Houston; his cousins, Vicki and Amy Rivet of Metairie, and Glen Huff of Ocean Springs.
A native of Slidell, Ken currently resided in Gulfport, employed by Balch & Bingham law firm. Ken will be remembered fondly and missed by his family, friends and neighbors in Long Beach, Gulfport, Jackson and New Orleans. Ken's passions were LSU sports, fishing, music and enjoying his family, pets and friends. Please envision Ken floating above us in a great boat with a feisty fish on the line, cheering for the LSU Tigers, reunited with all the adoring pets who passed before him, smiling and patiently waiting for his wife Alice, the "love of his life and best friend", to join him on board to resume their life together on the best journey ever.
A memorial service will be held at Bradford O-Keefe, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport, Miss. on Saturday, October 6, 2007, with visitation from 1-3, service at 3:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Long Beach Presbyterian Church Disaster Relief Fund, P.O. Box 107, Long Beach, MS 39560 or the Harrison County Humane Society.

Ken was the Leader of our Pack in the 70's era, Slidell, Louisiana. Rolling Stones, adventures galore, true love and too many stories to tell. I thank God that he found Alice and had her to the end.

Ken was the most gentle spoken and genuine person that I know. His assocation with Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis was very much an asset and all were very upset that he left for another job. He was the best friend anyone could ask for and cared for all. My prayers for his family & friends.
We miss you Ken!

Ken was such a dear friend who I will miss and never forget him. He was one who always had a kind word to say to you. He was a joy to be around and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to work and grace his presence here at WLWS. My prayers are with his family and friends who he has left behind.

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to get to know Ken at Watkins Ludlam. He was always so quiet and softspoken - well, until you handed him a microphone. Then "Entertainer Ken" would break through and he always brought smiles to our faces. He was a great guy and we all miss him.

Friendship has a whole new meaning when you knew Ken as your friend. He had a special gift for making everyone feel special. His friends' loss is truly heaven's gain. I'm sure he will be a guardian angel for the host of friends he has left behind. My greatest sympathy to each of his friends and family and to the LSU family as well.

Ken was a great person. He will be missed by many. I enjoyed working with Ken here at Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis. He was great at Karokee also and could always put a smile on peoples faces with his signing and dancing.

I knew Ken only for a short time, but his smiling face will never be forgotten. He was a true gentleman. He never failed to tell us how much he enjoyed working at Watkins Ludlam. I don't think he realized how much others enjoyed his presence.
