Larry Caraway Obituary
Brandon - Larry D. Caraway, 67, of Robinhood Lake in Brandon, a real estate appraiser, died at his home on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
Larry was born September 15, 1950 in Meridian and grew up in Long Beach, MS. and was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He lived a number of years in Kosciusko where he was the owner of a real estate business and appraisal company. He was a very friendly, warm and caring person to all walks of life. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Demar Caraway and his brother, Tony Caraway. He is survived by his mother, Betty Caraway Davis, of Jackson; daughter, Katie Ingram (Michael); son, Jarrett Caraway (Jes) of Brandon; eight grandchildren; step brother, Mark Davis (Beth), of Madison; and a step sister, Lisa Davis West (Sam), of Hamlet, N.C..
Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 444 Northpark Dr. in Ridgeland where the Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017, the Reverend John Patterson, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Larry and I were working to put a life insurance policy in place.. as his agent life insurance agent I am so deeply saddened that we were not able to put something in place sooner. I wish the best for his family.. his friends. My deepest and most sincere apology and condolences for him and his.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Larry's death. I called him Mr. 5 O'clock because he always came in to my office really close to 5 o'clock. He was a delight to work with and recently I took a workshop with him. He will definitely be missed. Choctaw County sends their condolences.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to family and friends for the lost of their beloved Larry. I hope the promise at John 6:39 can bring real comfort. Knowing that there is hope for our lost love ones can be reassuring.

Larry was one of the kindness people I ever knew. Larry and my husband were great friends during and after graduating from Southern. I never saw Larry without a smile and a kind word to say. God bless him.
