Lenore Ragsdale Obituary
Jackson
Lenore Elise "Sweetie" Ragsdale was deeply loved and cherished by family and friends from November 21, 1998 until her untimely death on February 16, 2011. She was only 12 years old. She was a stellar seventh grade student at Peeples Middle School of Jackson, MS. Lenore demonstrated time and time again a soulful intelligence in her eyes and speech that reached well beyond her years. She had a vivid imagination and a smile that could make your heart melt. Lenore loved reading, writing, creating art, playing with her sister, Charlyn, playing with many cousins and friends and most of all shopping with her mom, Christianna, and grandmother Ella. She was a very special and talented little girl. She was our "Sweetie."
The memory of Lenore will be greatly cherished by her mother, Christianna Jackson Smith (Roger Smith, Jr.); sister, Charlyn Samuel; grandparents, Zachary and Ella Ragsdale Turner, Malinda Craig, and Wallace Jackson, Sr.; aunts, Lea Thomas and Kyera Craig; uncles, Wallace Jackson, Jr., Milton Craig III, and Walter D. Thomas III; first cousins, Zion K. Perry and Deanna Thomas; and by a host of cousins, family and friends. We will always keep her memory alive.
Family and friends hour will be held at Westhaven, Friday, 2/25/2011 at 6:00 PM. Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom of Jehovah's Witnesses on Raymond Rd. at 2:00 PM, Saturday, 2/26/2011 in Jackson, MS.

I am simply heartbroken over the death of a person that had so much to live for and would have become a great depoister in the Earth!
