Lester Holt Obituary
Visitation is Saturday, November 15, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, with service following at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven, MS.
He was retired from the Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg, on January 3, 2008, after 31 years of service. He was an avid sportsman and member of the Panola Hunting Club. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello.
Survivors include: his father, Lester C. Holt, Sr. and stepmother, Polly O'Keefe Holt of Ridgeland; his daughter, Brandi Renee Chalk and husband, Brad of Byram; his son, Christopher Aaron Holt of Vicksburg; his sister, Sherri H. Kyzar and husband, Glenn of Ruth; his nephews, Justin H. Kyzar of Ruth and Jason G. Kyzar and wife, Jessica; great-niece, Kaityln of Brookhaven; and his beloved canines, Roo, Rowdy and Roxie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sybil C. Holt; and his grandparents.
Memorials may be sent to the Community Hospice of America, 140 N. 5th Street, McComb, MS 39648, the American Cancer Society or New Hope Baptist Church building fund.
