Margaret Yerger Obituary

Margaret Hinton Yerger, born October 16, 1912, died Sunday, March 8, 2009, at St. Catherine's Village. Visitation will begin at 10 am Saturday, March 14, 2009, in St. Francis Hall at St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral with a Requiem Eucharist following at 11 am. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson is assisting with arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Buford Yerger, Sr., and daughter, Margaret Mallett.
She is survived by a son, Buford Yerger, Jr., and his wife, Gay; two daughters, Anne Hooker and husband, Charles and Helen Blacklock and husband, Bob; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A native of Canton, Mississippi, Margaret moved to Jackson when she and Buford married. She was an active member of the Junior League and St. Andrew's Cathedral. An outstanding cook she will be remembered for many elegant family gatherings.
Memorials may be made to St. Andrew's Cathedral, 301 East Capital Street, Jackson, MS 39201.
