I think of Melinda so very often, not just on birth or death days but odd things pop in my head that remind me of her so many times. Not daily but often enough. I miss her. This is 10 year anniversary and I can remember like it was that day when I heard.

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Melinda's passing. Although it has been years since I have seen Melinda, I thought of her often and it always brought a smile to my face. Melinda and I were roommates in River Ridge several years ago, what fun times and GREAT food. I can still see those big dimples in her smile and those big smiling brown eyes. Melinda had so many great talents, such as an artist, chef, decorating/designing,theme party planning, and always making you laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. May the happy memories bring comfort during this difficult time. Heaven just got a new ANGEL to look over us.

With Heartfelt Sympathy,
Vicki D. Hughes

I remember Melinda coming to Forest Hill in 7th grade, about 1971 or 72. We joked with her about her Yankee accent and she laughed right along with us and immediately became friends of all. It's been many years, but her old friends treasure those times. May God comfort her family.

Thirty two years since high school with Melinda and I can still see her vivacious smile and hear her laugh. My grief is comforted by this hope from John 11:25, "Jesus said to her,'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;'.
