Michael Bush Obituary
Florence
Michael Dalton Bush, 22, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Visitation will be Friday, September 30th, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Florence from 5-8 pm and Saturday, October 1st from 9 am until the 10 am service at First Baptist Church in Florence.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Florence and a member of First Baptist Church of Florence. He graduated from Florence High School, Hinds Community College, HCC, where he received the '09 Presidential Award, and Mississippi State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Biological Science. He was an avid soccer player through high school and was part of the HCC Championship teams in 2008 and 2009.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Fredonyah Sale. He is survived his mother and step-father, Cheri and David Wickens of Florence; by his father and step-mother Allen and Donna Bush of Ellisville; fiancee Elizabeth Dickson of Florence; Grandparents, Jack and Bonnie Bush of Ellisville, Carolyn Wickens of Jackson, Margaret Patton of Pearl, and Don and Jeanne Wickens of Minneapolis, MN; brothers and sisters, Faith Bush of Florence, Sarah Bush of Ellisville, Wade Bush of Ellisville, Alexis Wickens of Florence, Emma Wickens of Florence, Jared Bush of Ellisville, D.J. Wickens of Florence and Maggie Bush of Ellisville; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

My heart aches for the Bush family, Lizzy, and all of Michael's friends. I never had the privelage of meeting Michael, but we have a very close mutual friend. My dear father passed away several years ago, similarly and unexpectedly. I pray that you will place your heavy hearts on the Lord, and that he may comfort you through your darkest days. As impossible as it may seem, may you will find comfort, peace, and happiness. My family and church will continue to pray for you all.

You meant the world to every single one of your close friends. Your memory will never fade in their minds as the hilarious handsome boy they loved for all your life. My deepest sympathies go out to your family, friends, and fiancee.

I returned from out of town today and learned of Michael's death. My heart aches for your loss. Michael was mine for that one special 1st grade year.
