To Caroline, Ward, Ms. Jeanne and Eddie: As I told Ward yesterday, I am so very sorry to hear of Neil's passing and regret that I could not attend his services. My prayers and thoughts go out to each of you and your loved ones and fellow family members in this time of sorrow. I will always remember Neil with great respect and admiration because he was always quick with a smile or laugh, or witty story to share, and I am more than sure anyone will agree with me when I say he was never a stranger to anyone. Your family has always been a blessing to me and for that I am simply grateful that I can say these words and be there for any and all of you in any way possible. May God bless and keep you and your family in his care. I am honored to say that I may not have known Neil as well as most, but he was a "real" man with a "great" heart.
