Patsy "Patti" Lee Schneider

Brandon - Patti, 83 of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday May 13, 2021, after a brief illness.

Patti is the daughter of the late Wilburn Sanders and Ilner "Sandy" Spears. She was born on July 30, 1937 in the delta town of Anguilla, Ms. Patti attended Anguilla High School, where she was awarded many honors for her beautiful soprano voice. After high school, she attended radiographic technologist training in Vicksburg and Meridian, Ms. She was the Chief Technologist for many years at Radiological Group in Jackson.

Patti met the love of her life, Gene Schneider, on a blind date in 1958 in Jackson, and married shortly thereafter. She was the consummate mother of three children. She was a wonderful cook, cheerleader, and always offered wise advice and counsel. She was grandmother to five grandsons, and four great grandchildren whom she adored.

Of all of her interests, she loved Christmas above all others. From the birth of her savior, Jesus Christ, to all the food, trimmings and traditions of the season, she adored it all. She loved the Canton Flea Market, Pinterest, country decor, gardening, and time with family.

Patti will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, and son-in-law, Scott Mateer. She is survived by husband, Gene Schneider (91), daughter, Shari Schneider, Bruce (Rita) Schneider and Ricky (Vivian) Schneider. Grandchildren include Doug (Elise)Schneider, Kurt (Stacy)Schneider, Stephen Schneider, Ethan Schneider, and Landon Schneider. Great grandchildren include Hewitt and Lillian Schneider, and Leila and Luke Schneider.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 16th at Wright and Ferguson in Flowood from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. There will also be a visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelake Baptist Church in Brandon, followed by a celebration at 3:00 p.m.
