Brandon

Our precious little angel sent from above, Pruett Taylor Bowen, 4 months old, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 16, 2012, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012, from 5-7 p.m. at Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are Friday, January 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Pinelake Church with burial to follow in the Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon, MS. As an answer to his parents' prayers, Pruett was born on September 29, 2011, in Flowood, MS, and was a resident of Brandon, MS. He was a member of Pinelake Church. An avid Mississippi State fan, he loved watching sports with his daddy and reading Bible stories with his mama. He was dearly loved by an abundance of family and friends. We will forever remember and miss our beloved 'lil man'.

He is survived by his parents, Brandon and Maren Bowen of Brandon, MS; his maternal grandparents, Brenda Beasley of Brandon, MS, and Larry and Janet Beasley of Pearl, MS; his paternal grandparents, Brenda Pruett Patrick and her husband David of Bartlett, TN, and Stephen Bowen of Aberdeen, MS; his great-grandparents, Billy and Mary Beasley of Madison, MS, A.W. Boleware of Jackson, MS, Billy and Shirley Pruett of Aberdeen, MS, and Velma Bowen of Aberdeen, MS; his uncles, Taylor (& Laura) Beasley of Germantown, TN, Jason (& Jennifer) Beasley of Chattanooga, TN, and Kris Bowen of Oxford, MS. There are no words for which I could speak that would adequately address what you must be feeling. If there were, I would gladly share them. What I will do is speak to the you who will emerge after the grief. Pruett will forever be a part of your life and there was something truly special about both of you that God would entrust such a beautiful, sweet spirit to you. If the other posts here are anything to go by, he was well loved and no doubt knew it. So, when you think of him, recall the special times you had and the wonderful changes he brought out in you. Hold to that. Honor that. You WILL see him again. GOD'S GRACE….
