Bob Pennington, 91, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2012 at his home. Visitation is 5pm-8pm today and after 10am Wednesday at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be in the chapel 11am Wednesday with interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Pennington was born in Montgomery, AL in 1920. His parents were the late Charles Pennington and Eugenia Williams Pennington. He served our country during WWII with the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre. He owned and operated Camp Service and Parts in Jackson for over 75 years. He was a longtime resident of Clinton and a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. He was a former deacon and Boy Scout Leader. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Pennington leaves behind his loving family, his wife of 38 years Elberta Boykin Pennington, sons, Charlie Pennington (Shirley) of Pearl, Charles E. Hupperich (Yvonne) of Utica, Herbert Hupperich (JoAnn) of Terry, daughters, Carolyn Mays of Clinton, and Angie Hupperich of Clinton, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert "Bobby" Pennington.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
