Stanley Patterson Obituary

Stanley Wayne Patterson, 58, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Crossgates/River Oaks Hospital in Brandon.
Mr. Patterson was born in Lafayette, Georgia to Marvin T. Patterson and Wanda J. Day. He graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College, earning his degree in Applied Science.
He served his country faithfully in the United States Army, with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1976.
Mr. Patterson was an employee of Chugach McKinley as a Base Operations Manager. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time fishing, gardening, and bringing smiles to people with his lighthearted humor.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Patterson.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kimle Patterson; sons, Tony Patterson (Dianna) of Madison and David Patterson of Brandon; grandson, Alexander Patterson; parents, Marvin and Wanda Patterson of Washington, NC; sister, Cathy Girmaldo of Greenville, NC and brother, Darrel Patterson of Washington, NC.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 11am till 1:00pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm Thursday at New Brandon Cemetery in Brandon.
