I am so sorry for the loss of a great officer. TIM was a part of our family at Jackson County. The first time I met Tim I saw the love he had for the work he was doing. He was a kind man with a good heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May God give you the strength you need to get through each day. TIM will be greatly missed by his law enforcement family. L Edwards, JCSD.

I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy. I was on my way to work one day when I passed a woman stranded on the side of the road. She had run out of gas. I was on my way to work, but stopped to help her. We worked to try and call someone to help her....she had no shoes on and looked as if she had no money in her wallet for gas. As we were standing there, Officer Goad drove up. He was so nice, and promised me that he would take care of the woman, making sure she was able to get some gas and get back on the road. I was very impressed with the gentleness he showed to the woman. He told me to go on to work, but thanked me for stopping to help. I remembered his name from that day, and was very sad to hear the news. He was an honorable police officer, and I know you will miss him dearly.
