My condolences to the best neighbors a person could ever hope for. The type of neighbor that good fences do not make. Having Voyed next door has always made me feel just a little safer and the world a better place. God bless Voyed and Nina and the entire Couey family. Voyed always had my utmost respect and admiration and will be so, so sorely missed.

My condolences to the Couey family. I only saw Voyed once since we were kids in Rosedale. That was at the RHS Reunion in 2001. We grew up together and served in the Misissippi National Guard. We both joined the US Army about the same time and lost contact with each other. I will always have fond memories of Voyed and I wish his family the best.

We love you and will miss you terribly! I will treasure the last memories I have of you coming down to Ginger's and you and I sitting on the porch talking about life and raising kids and talking about your childhood, versus the way children are raised today. I felt a deep connection to you that day, I remember going over to Mom's and telling her "I just had the best visit with "Uncle Voyd"! And just for the record my boys loved you and knew exactly who you were each time you came to visit and for that I am so proud that they got to know their Great Uncle Voyd! You will forever be in our hearts!
