William Bennett Obituary

William Russell Bennett, III

Manor, TX

William (Billy) Russell Bennett III of Manor, TX, born Nov. 1, 1947, in Madison MS, died on March 6, 2016. He was a member of the Chapel of the Cross.

Billy was an Air Force Veteran who served in Vietnam. After moving to Texas he served as Post Commander and District 28 Commander of the VFW. Billy and his wife were active members of St. John's Episcopal Church in Austin, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Bill Jr. and Anna; his sister, Gay Yerger; and friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 3:30, p.m., at the Chapel of the Cross in Mannsdale, MS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chapel of the Cross.
