William R. Huff

Mr. William R. Huff, 85 - born Jan. 27, 1929 in Puckett, MS to Charlie W. and Lona Benton Huff; died Friday, March 28, 2014.

Mr. Huff served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church where he served as an usher and as church secretary. Mr. Huff was the retired owner of Wink TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Hazel Bullock Huff, his daughter Gwendolyn Huff, and brother Jim Huff.

Survivors include his son, Robby Huff (Linda); daughter, Donna Lachowsky (David); two grandchildren, Robert Huff and Dana Smith; four great-grandchildren, Bryson Huff, Eden Huff, Alex Wade, and Abi Wade.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 at Lakewood Funeral Home. The service will begin in the chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday with interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
