William Earl Strength, Sr., 80, of Jackson died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital.
He was born on Wednesday, May 24, 1933 in Ecorse, MI, son of the late Oliver Brooks Strength and the late Thelma Bernice Wiliams.
He was a Contractor.
Surviving are his sons, William (Bill) Earl Strength, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Adam Brooks Strength of Jackson, MS, Shawn Wesley Strength of Jackson, MS, Shannon Leo Strength of Jackson, MS; Daughters, Candace Strength Joines of Hoover, AL, Danyelle Collins Lynch of Atlanta, GA, Cheryl Cerise Jaber of LA; 14 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Ann Rutherford of Clanton, AL, Sarria Ham of Clanton, AL; Brother, Richard McBrayer, MI.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Oliver Brooks & Thelma Bernice Strength.
Friends will be received from 11:30-12:30, Monday, November 11, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 11, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Father Bruce Bumbarger officiating.
Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
