CSM. (Ret) Marcelino Quintero Jr., age 77 of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 in Clarksville, TN. He was born on May 19,1948 in Laredo, TX the son of Gloria Miller Petterson. He retired from the US Army and also retired from the US Post Office. He served in Vietnam with the 101St., Desert Storm and Desert Shield while serving in Fort Hood and retired from the 101St. Mr. Quintero was of the catholic faith and was preceded in death by two brothers. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Rosie Quintero; two sons, Hector ( Abby) Quintero and Richard Quintero; one daughter, Diana (Michael) Ulrey; three sisters, Brenda Scott, Bebe Esquivel and Cynthia Driver; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, August 25, 2025 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 11:00 AM until the service hour. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery West with full military honors.
