Cw3 Nagy Obituary

Laszlo Lajos Nagy, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age of 85. Laszlo was born in Letenye, Hungary, on May 18, 1939. Laszlo is preceded in death by his parents, and eight siblings from Hungary. He is survived by his wife, Polly Nagy; sons, Tony Nagy (Vicki), Danny Nagy (Karen), and Richard Davis (Andrea); daughters, Dianne Nagy-Steele and Becky McGuire (Jeff); 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and special family members, Istvan and Laci Nagy. Laszlo was a great patriarch of the family and country. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, and great provider. He was a refugee from Hungary and joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17. He served multiple tours in Vietnam for which he was awarded two Bronze Stars along with numerous other awards throughout his honorable military career. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home. The Military Burial will follow services at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
