David Springfield Obituary

David Joe Springfield, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 68. David was born in Sebree, KY on September 8, 1956, to the late Herbert Springfield and Mildred Orrick Springfield. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Springfield and Herbie Springfield; sister, Carolyn Salerno; and great-nephew, Dillon. David is survived by his sisters, Regina Eades (Gene), Patty Springfield, and Andi Rose (Darin); 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 8 great nieces, and 6 great nephews. David was a 1974 graduate of Clarksville High School and recipient of an Art Scholarship to APSU. He loved to read and travel and was a big history buff. David retired from Jostens after 40 years of service. He always enjoyed hosting and cooking for family gatherings. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Sango Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Breedlove, John Doubler, Nate Lay, Logan Keay, Eli Marchant, and Frankie Springfield. Honorary pallbearers are Michael McDaniel, Pat Rose, and Barry Austin. Arrangements are entrusted to Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040; (931) 645-6488.
