Dottie Kay Hollis

Dottie Kay Hollis, 68, of Chapmansboro, TN passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. She was born on July 16, 1957, in Cairo, IL to Howard and Dolly (nee Hendrix) Caudell. Throughout her life, Dottie was a hard worker in food service in Illinois and Tennessee, housekeeping industry in Illinois, and construction industry as a painter at Ft. Campbell. Her favorite past-times included fishing, camping, and a variety of crafts including embroidery and quilting. On February 22, 1980, Dottie married the love of her life, Donald Hollis. Dottie was born into a large family with 16 children, being the youngest daughter. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Hollis, both parents and 11 siblings, including a twin sister, Debbie, who died at the age of 2 weeks. Service will follow at 11:00 at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with burial following at Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery.
