Barbara Moscarino Obituary

age 90. Fiercely devoted wife of 63 years to "her rock" George; cherished mother of George (Lee), John, Mary Jeanne Wise (David) and Carolyn Kulawiak (John); adoring and treasured grandmother of Katie (Bear), Bradley, John (Alyssa), Nikki (Kevin), Lauren, Hannah, Gracie, and Hailey and proud great-grandmother of Chase, Sadie, and Owen; youngest daughter of Raymond J. and Mary Guth and sister of the late Shirley Foran and Mary Ann Latko; fond sister-in-law of Mary Jean Corpora (Leroy); loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many; sweet and grateful care recipient of the special individuals who enhanced the quality of her final years. Barbara attended Ohio University where she met her beloved George. She was the heart, soul, and backbone of her family who she fueled with her unwavering support and delectable cooking. Entering her home was like walking into a beautiful spread of a decor magazine where you were enveloped by love, met with a Michelin star quality meal, and charmed by her gentle, welcoming demeanor and subtle but sharp wit. Barbara credited her strength and perseverance to her "stubborn German" heritage. She was a true gem whose pure kindness and generosity impressed everyone she encountered. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Barbara's name to the Alzheimer's Association-Cleveland Chapter or Shining Star CLE. Private funeral service at Church of the Gesu and interment at All Saints Cemetery on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Please sign the funeral home Tribute Wall at:

Barbara was not only my cousin, she was a best friend, a confidante, and a mentor. Her love and guidance helped me to grow and accept life on life's terms. Her love and beauty came from within. She shared that love with all those around her. I was blessed and grateful to have her in my life. May she rest in peace and eternal love. Mary Lou

Dear Moscarino Family,
There are no words to express the deep sadness I feel in my heart with the loss of your Mother, grand mother and great grandmother and friend.
Your Mom was one of a kind. We had a very special bond and I am so grateful for that. We laughed, we cried and we truly loved one another.
Family was Barbs most precious gift. She loved each and everyone of you so very much. You were so blessed to have her as your mom and I was blessed to call her my friend.
Rest in peace, my friend, until we meet again
Your friend,
Jan

Barb was one of my first clients in the beauty industry. Her and her lovely girlfriends on Thistle Lane. Such a fun group of ladies. I was so touched that she came to my wedding ceremony. It was the first experience of how a client can become a friend. I will miss you Barb and always cherish you kindness. Sending sincere condolences to her whole family.

I was Barbra`s caregiver for close to five years. She was a joy to care for and she always had great sense of humor and appreciate all that helped her. Thank you to the family for allowing me to care for her and thank you to the family for being family to the caregivers. Many prayers and condolences to you all.
