Herb was the best friend. I met Herb on a golf course, Hilliard Lakes. From there we began to golf together whenever we could. He started the Big Dawg golf league and I was there from the beginning. He will be missed. Just a great guy.

Herb was a good friend and started the Big Dog League more than 30 years ago. We missed not having the league when Herb decided to step down a couple of years ago for health reasons. He was a take-charge person and would have holiday golf outings and annual golf trips to South Carolina and Florida. His friendship and laughter will be missed.

A lot of people will miss you, Herb.
I remember the great time we had at Mallard Creek. And wonderful golf trips down south with all the buddies. What a wonderful person.
