CLINTON — Cornelius "Fulton" Spell, 79, of 3522 The Ave, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 14, at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, at the home of his son Raymond at 196 Cedar Point Dr., Wallace, NC.
Fulton, born April 17, 1943 in Sampson County, was the son of the late James Paul Spell and Repsie Lane Spell. He worked at Lundy Packing Company and Martin Meats and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Ann Weeks Spell and siblings, Vernon Spell, Diane Spell, and Annie Ruth Jackson and grandson, Leon Spell.
Survivors include sons, William Fulton Spell (Linda) and Raymond Paul Spell (Shannon); grandchildren, Nicholas Scott Spell (Scarlett), Hannah Renee Spell (Josh), Corey Spell Nelms (Kelly), Taylor Hope Spell, Ethan Paul Spell and Ryann Elizabeth Spell; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Inez Tyndall, Ruby Medlin, Charles Spell, Lonnie Spell and Jesse Spell.
