Michael D. Brock, 54
TURKEY — Mr. Michael Dennis Brock, 54, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 at his home.
The funeral will 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Turkey Baptist Church, 144 W. Faison Ave., Turkey, with the Rev. Dr. Ron Bryan and the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Michael, born in 1960 in Sampson County, was the son of Gloria Faye Cooper and the late James Brock. He was the manager of Harvey's Farm Supply in Warsaw.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancee, Bridget Lucas of the home; a step-daughter, Britany Pate and friend Philip; a grandson, Brice; brother, Rusty Brock and wife Ann of Angier; sister, Terrie B. Siy-Hian and husband Ben; niece, Dana Wilkie and husband Brad, Jason Brock and wife Kimberly and children, Benjie Siy-Hian.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at rumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Colon Cancer Foundation at: "Fight Colorectal Cancer" , 1414 Prince Street, Suite 204, Alexandria, VA 22314.
Arrangements are by Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville St., Clinton, NC 28328.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Michael's passing. I remember the last time i saw him. I was not feeling very good but Michael recognized me & told me who he was. I'll never forget Michael. He was a dear friend & a great athelte.
