Nick Everett Obituary

Nick Jason Everett was born in Ft. Collins, CO.
He attended Beattie Elementary, Boltz Junior High School and graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1992.
He was very active in many sports including soccer, baseball, track, football, snowboarding and his enduring love was for the game of golf. He continued to play golf until he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and even then avidly followed the game.
At Platt College in Aurora, CO he completed the Graphic Arts Associate Degree requirements for graduation. He was employed at Levy Company in Denver working at the Wellshire Inn, Spectrum Sports Center in Charlotte, NC then promoted to Purchasing Manager for the Pepsi Center in Denver.
In his job he was able to meet and interact with members of professional sports teams and coaches that played in that venue. He enjoyed supporting and attending the Colorado State University football and basketball games. Two of his last activities with his Mother were attending the open house and first game in the new on-campus football stadium.
Nick was a Cub Scout and 2nd Class ranked Boy Scout.
He enjoyed camping with family, holiday and birthday get togethers and fishing with Chris, his Dad and Landis. NASCAR racing was a sport he followed with his brother and youngest nephew.
Nick is survived by his mother Beverly Johnson of Fort Collins, his father and stepmother, Gary and Ana Everett of Loveland, brother Chris Everett of Fort Collins, nephews Taylor Sewald and Landis Everett, Grandmother Betty Everett of Fort Collins and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a private Celebration of Life for family and close friends for Nick on Monday, October 23rd, 10:30 at the V.F.W. Hall - 603 Lesser Dr. - Ft. Collins, CO 80524.

Me and Nick have been friends since before kindergarten. We did everything together, he was the brother I never had. Hearing his passing, took away apart of me! Love and condolences to Nick's famil'. I had the pleasure of working with Nick at Washbar. He walks such a fun guy. Full of life and always a jokester. Nick, you will be missed but your memory is in our hearts. Thank you for all the fun times. God Bless you and your family.

I met Nick as a sophomore at RMHS - he was so very sweet and kind to me. I remember listening to music with him, dancing with him and generally laughing all the time. Sending love and light to Nick's family.
