Raymond Michael Forehand

1959 - 2021

Brighton, Colo-Raymond Michael Forehand, age 62, passed away at his home.
Raymond was born on January 9, 1959 at Scott AFB Hospital in Illinois to Maria (Kesseler) and Arvil Forehand. Raymond graduated from Brighton High School in 1978, where he completed his Airframe and Power plant Mechanic from Colorado Aero Tech in July of 1980.
Raymond worked for Frontier Airlines, at the time of his passing, as mechanic, maintenance lead and, more recently, aircraft inspector. He thoroughly enjoyed his work, recognizing at times, it was a tough trade to learn and continue excelling in.
In his younger years he spent most of his time at the Wagon Wheel Skating Rink, where he worked for Eddie and Mary Trevena. He often said to his closest friends, "Mary was the one who stopped me from cussing much. You always listened to Mary." As Raymond grew, he frequented the ol' Wagon Wheel often, assisting with hockey leagues for adults and children. He could really skate.
Raymond is survived by Dia Kesseler Montgomery (niece), Mario Bell (cousin) and countless close friends that he called family.
Raymond is preceded in death by his mother Maria, father Arvil and sister Monica, along with other extended family members and friends.
Raymond asked that his life be celebrated at the Wagon Wheel Skate Center in Brighton, Colorado, where he made countless memories and family friends. Please join those he loved and those whom loved him on Sunday, August 22, 2021 for a celebration of life memorial between 3p.m.-6p.m. MST. Please share the memories with his family and friends and take a skate around the rink in his memory.
