Betty Danielski Obituary

Betty L Danielski of Valentine, NE, passed away Sunday March 10, 2024, peacefully with family by her side.

Mass of Christian Burial for Betty, age 90 of Valentine, NE will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:30AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Valentine, NE. The Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine, NE. The rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 14, at 7:00PM at the Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14 from 1- 4pm, at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines.

Betty was born October 25, 1933, in Genoa, NE, to Kenneth and Helen Maurer (Pilakowski). She attended school in Monroe, NE. On October 25, 1950, she was united in marriage to Clarence J. Danielski residing in rural Platte County where they were blessed with six wonderful children, before moving to Valentine, NE in 1979 where they farmed for many decades. Betty traveled with Clarence and their family for years helping out with the summer grain harvesting season. She was a homemaker who loved and treasured spending time with her large family. She had a passion for music and played the organ at St. Nicholas Catholic Church practicing her Catholic Faith. Outside of her family Betty enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting and her beloved Yorkie Molly. They enjoyed spending winters in Edinburg, Texas and hosting family events and holidays.

Betty is survived by her children, David of Bedford, IA, Donald (Felicia) of Valentine, NE, Michael (Becky) of Bartow, FL, Susan (Wayne) Moser-Paprosky of Naples, FL, Leonard (Linda) of Valentine, NE and Thomas of Valentine, NE.

Also surviving, are grandchildren, Wayne (Candice) Danielski, Dale Danielski, Chrystle (Jeremie) Wichman, Christopher (Sarah) Danielski, Jennifer (Michael) Boaz, Andrew (Ashleigh) Danielski, Nicholas Moser, Luke (Tygh) Moser, Erica Moser, Tonia (Jason) Kaup, Jay (Tami) Danielski, Shannon (Matthew) Favinger and Adam (Tana) Danielski; 21 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Irene Kresha of Columbus, NE and brother-in-law, Harry Malakoff of New York, NY.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Helen Maurer; husband, Clarence; sister, Lois Maurer-Malakoff; sister-in-law, Lucille Kresha and brother-in-law, Leonard Danielski.

Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine was entrusted with service arrangements.
