David Allen Wingard was born April 16, 1963, at Ramey Air Force base in Puerto Rico to Richard and Judy (Johnson) Wingard. The family settled in Rising City and Dave graduated from Rising City High School. He then attended Southeast Community College in Milford where he earned an associate degree in drafting. He worked for Timpte Manufacturing of David City, Good Year in Lincoln and Vishay in Columbus. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening. David spent endless hours in his garden and could grow anything in abundance, which made him a tremendous cook. Hunting and fishing with friends, family and especially his nephews, brought him great happiness.
David is survived by his parents, Richard and Judy Wingard of Rising City; two brothers, Kevin (Becky) Wingard of Milford and Randy (Karla) Wingard of Rising City; nieces, Mekenna and Maci of Milford and Natalie of Rising City; nephews, Mitch of Milford and Colin of Rising City; and special friends, ReAnna and BJ Hitz, Lanta, Blake and Red, all of Wahoo.
