OMAHA -- Loretta Regina (Lisko) Cockson, born Dec 15, 1916, died Feb. 17, 2014. Omaha; born in Osceola.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Cockson; parents, Louis and Anna Lisko; daughter, Margaret (Cockson) Bolas; granddaughter, Laura Cockson; brothers, Msgr. A. J. Lisko, Edwin Lisko, Bernard Lisko, and Francis Lisko; sister, Helen Binder; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Lisko and Adeline Lisko.
She is survived by her children, Carol Dvorak (Dr. Allen), Robert Cockson (Eva), Marie Vandenberg (Dr. Edward), Paul Cockson, and Anne O'Dell (Dr. Mark); son-in-law, John Bolas; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Lisko; sister, Rose Merten; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at the West Center Chapel of Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler Mortuary.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 3:30 p.m., at St. Mary Cemetery in David City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church in David City, Aquinas Catholic Schools, in David City, Christ the King Educational Trust, New Cassel Retirement Center, or Immanuel Fontenelle Home.
