Marcella Waters Obituary
HUMPHREY - Marcella C. Waters, 93, of Humphrey, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at St. Josephs Care Center in Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey with Father Wayne Pavela officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaumont, Calif.
Visitation will be Friday, with a 3 p.m. Christian Mothers rosary and a 7 p.m. scripture service, continuing 9-10 a.m. Saturday, all at Duesman Funeral Chapel in Humphrey.
Marcella was born May 8, 1917, in St. Libory, to Joseph A. and Balbina C. (Zoucha) Rosenthal. She attended high school and held a bachelor of arts degree. She married Wilbur J. Waters in Denver, Colo. She lived in Beaumont, Calif., most of her married life and made her residence in Humphrey in 2007. She was employed in the Water & Power Division for the City of Los Angeles, Calif. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, and was a member of the St. Francis Church.
Survivors include her sisters, Catherine Goering, of Humphrey, Justine Rosenthal, of Genoa, Theresa Bauchuma, of Billings, Mont.; brothers, Robert Rosenthal, of Colorado, and Larry Rosenthal, of Norfolk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur; and sisters, Josephine, Frances, Alice, Loretta, Delphine, Evelyn, Dorothy and Delores.
