Patrick B. McDermott passed away on Oct. 9, 2021.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, all at West Center Chapel. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Survived by daughter, Holly Ann Engdahl; son, Mark Andrew McDermott (Brandi); grandchildren, Chloe Belle Engdahl; Cohen D. Connely McDermott; and sister, Sharon Armstrong.
Preceded in death by wife, Sandra A. McDermott.
Memorials will be directed by the family.

Pat was a dear friend and terrific architect. He always strived for the best in the studio design class, architecture design and for the UNL School of Architecture. Pat was a person of great energy and passion for doing things right. He made an outstanding contribution to his community and the profession. Pat will be missed.

Dear Holly and Andy, Please know that you have my deepest condolences> I am sure that you know that i loved this guy. I am deeply saddened to learn of this .
Pat and I had great times together and I valued his friendship. Certain bonds that were made in our college years endured for over 50 years. He will be dearly missed. You and your family and Pat are in my prayers.
