COLUMBUS - Phyllis Ann Pearson, 73, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Columbus Community Hospital.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Monday at First United Medothist Church in Columbus with the Rev. Bill Ritter officiating. A private family prayer service will be at 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. A private family burial will be at West Hill Cemetery in rural Genoa.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. today at Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus.
Mrs. Pearson was born May 10, 1931, in Genoa to Albert and Edna (Templin) Musselman. She attended and graduated from Genoa High School in 1948.
On Dec. 28, 1952, she married Carroll Pearson in Genoa. They farmed near Genoa for 38 years. They retired in 1990 and have lived in Pflugerville, Texas, and Columbus since then.
She was a member of the church and multiple card clubs. She was an avid Husker fan.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Pam (Ted) Pearson of Columbus, Barb (Ken) Voecks of Big Stone City, S.D., and Betty (Abdul) Aghazadeh of Pflugerville; son, Jerry (Becky) Pearson of Genoa; brother, Calvin (Shirley) Musselman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 11 granchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Musselman and Henry Musselman; and sister, Velma Musselman.
Memorials are directed to the American Lung Association, the church or the Columbus Rescue Mission.
