Robert Ekeler Obituary
Robert "Bob" Ekeler, age 85, passed away on February 2, 2026.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City, with a Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment of ashes will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery with lunch following at Winfields. Moravec Johnson Mortuary is assisting Bob's family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, please have a Mass said for Bob.
Robert is survived by his wife, Deanna; daughters, Cheryl (Tony), Suzanne, and Kari (Trevor); grandchildren: Allison, Katie, Trevor, Austin, Wyett, Lilly, and Gracie; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Katie Bo and Marlow; brothers: Jack (Judy), Steve, Jim (Janelle), and sister, Carol (Dan); sister-in-law, Jan Ekeler; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Louis and Mary Ekeler, and brothers, Chuck and Bill.
