To the family of Ms Ray...I am going to truly miss my pretty lady (what I called her). She shared with me (and others) her warm spirit, love , kindness, and wisdom. I have and will continue to cherish the memories that she and I shared and I know you all will do the same. I continue to keep each of you lifted up in my prayers.

To the family of Ms Ray..the one I called pretty lady. I am going to truly miss her. She shared with me (and others)her warm spirit, love, wisdom, and kindness. A true woman of GOD. I have each of you in my prayers,just like I had and will always keep the pretty lady in my heart; and I will continue to hold on to the many memories that she and I shared. I know that each of you will do the same.

To the family of Ms. Anita Ray I would like to give my condolences. She was my child's preschool teacher and everyone at Primary Prep called her "Grandma" and she was an angel. She was so kind and sweet. I will definitely miss her.

To Tony, Terrance, Valerie,Shirley and the rest of the family.
You all had a very sweet mother and sister. When my home was destroyed in a fire in 1991, and I lost two of my children, Sister Ray offered me to come and live with her in her home. I will never forget her generosity, and will always cherish her kindness. I Thank God for her. I am praying that God will give each of you the strength to endure her separation in the days,weeks, and months ahead. I will continue to keep each one of you in my prayers.

May God's peace,love and comfort rest on all of you at this time. Anita was a sweet soft spoken woman of God and she will be missed dearly. I do not know any of her family but I wish God's healing power on each of you at this time. I worked with her at a boutique shop and enjoyed being around her she was very uplifting and always had a lovely smile on her face. Truly there is no sorrow that heaven can not heal.

Speaking as one of her dearest "other children," I want to encourage my siblings to remember and reenact those things that our mother instilled in us. Though she had an appropiate word based upon where we were spiritually, she had a common rule for us all which was, "It's holiness or hell!" The spiritual bond she and I shared produced a closeness that is inexplainable. While the duration of life's journey will now be more challenging, I am certain that I as well as each of you who she was so special to will be able to press on toward the prize because she has been a prime example for us. As our God was with her, so shall He be with us, and to Him be the glory for allowing us Evangelist Anita B. Ray!

May God's love comfort you, His mercy strengthen you and His grace give you peace in your hour of bereavement. Remember the good times with Anita and the sad times will be but a blur. "Lead me, Guide me along the way...Lord, if you me, I will not stray..." I will always remember her singing this song and the joy she exuded while doing so. Our prayers are with you all.
